Customer Benefit     The Monsanto Mavericks Cycling Team focuses on helping our ultimate customer: people directly affected by Multiple Sclerosis. Our team, which first started riding together with fewer than 10 riders in 2002, has grown every year in size and financial contribution to the NMSS. This money goes to support delivery of programs and services and hundreds of clinical trials underway to develop additional treatments for the people living with multiple sclerosis in the United States. In 2004, 88% of all expenses were for Programs and Research (55% for Local Programs), and only 12% was spent on Management and General Expenses. The Gateway Area Chapter spends money wisely. The Monsanto Mavericks have helped to change lives and to make a difference.     The Monsanto Mavericks Cycling Team members are also riding for friends and family who are struggling with Multiple Sclerosis.
